Expomedia has joined hands with the Indian Society of Lighting Engineers who have held six hugely successful editions in Delhi of Light India International, the largest lighting exhibition in South Asia to take the event to Mumbai in 2009!Mumbai is the commercial capital of India. Most of the large Indian companies are either headquartered in Mumbai or certainly have a very strong presence. Decision making is also centred very largely in Mumbai and therefore a Lighting Exhibition in Mumbai is likely to materialize immediate rewards for exhibitors. It is an excellent location to introduce strength and establish brands.
The Indian lighting market today can truly be considered a global market for free import and export. As a result of the quantum increase in GDPs (Gross Domestic Products) an increasing number of high-end luminaire and system providers have entered the Indian market directly or through agents.
