The SirGroh Holdings


SirGroh Holdings is owned by the SirGroh family. SirGroh family migrated from East Punjab in 1880 and settled in Lyallpur (now called Fasilabad).


Sir is honorable and Groh means group of tribes. Together they mean an honorable leader of the group of tribes. The name was given by the people of the area, in honor of the services rendered by the family in the field of education, agriculture, health-care and political leadership.


Professional agriculturists the family launched a major industrial project in the year 1943 and established Vegetable oil plant at Fasilabad and named it SirGroh Vegetable Oil & General Mills. This project was nationalized in 1973 and it is still being owned and managed by the Government of Pakistan.


In 1968 a solvent extraction plant was ...set-up near Lahore under the name and style of Universal Oil Industries Ltd. Another solvent extraction plant was established at Fasilabad in 1972 by the name of Extraction Pakistan Limited.

In 1978 a cooking oil & vegetable oil plant was set-up at Hassanabdal near Rawalpindi under the name of ATM Corporation Limited.


In addition to the ancestral land at Fasilabad, 500 acres of prime farmland was purchased and added at Pakpattan in 1959 and was called as Sirgroh Farms. Hard work and diligent planning paved way for expansion and another 625 acres of land near Kanganpur, was added. SirGroh Farms now possess 1,125 acres of valuable fertile farmland where most modern and mechanized farming has won a number of national awards.

The SirGroh Holdings kept growing with time, new areas were explored and the activities diversified. Multi-national conglomerates were contracted and engaged in collaborations and joint venture projects.


Under the able and dynamic leadership of its Projects Development Team Leader Mr. Asif Sharif (who served as Honorary Consul for the Republic of Poland as well as President Pakistan Belgium Businessmen Forum) with the assistance of his professional teammates the SirGroh Group grew. Today it has exclusive manufacturing contracts, countrywide distribution rights with leading international companies and track record of delivering agricultural tractors worth Billions of dollar.

As and when a project is completed, staff trained and operational management put-in-place, it excludes from the domain of Zephyr. Thereafter it operates independently and the role of Zephyr only remains to the extent of development and training facility.

This company has been created as result of a collaboration of SirGroh Farm Aids Private Limited and Khyber Tractors Private Limited.
